Scout Coffee Co.
The combination of scratch made pastries, craft roasted coffee, and curated goods in a creative space makes stepping into Scout a memorable and magical experience.
A locals coffee spot. Lovely place to stop if you are wandering around town and fancy a coffee. Great gifts for sale too.
There are actually two locations for Scout Coffee. The Foothills location is less quaint but has more seating and a lot of parking. Parking in San Luis Obispo is a little more challenging. And this location requires a little walk.
“Grass fed burger bar, salads, hand cut fries and craft beers with a full bar”
“Another young professionals bar. Usually the college kids don't venture off of Higuera, so this is a great spot. No loud dance music. Tables and another bar in the back. Great food as well. I recommend the Beef Mac n' Cheese.”
“The original San Luis Obispo dive bar. Recently renovated to remove years of pee and sadness from the walls, its now popular among young professionals, Cal poly grads from the 80s and 90s reliving their college days, wedding parties, and fraternity types. Must visit for 21st birthdays (watch out for the Bull Sweat), and for evenings when you feel like drinking massive quantities of $2.50 Bud Lites.”

“They have pretty much everything you need for cheap, and you can walk there!”
