Hayes Street is a fun street to explore. Lots of little boutiques and interesting restaurants. Start at Van Ness and walk west.
This area has cute retail and some nice spots to eat and have a drink!
“Another hidden place, across the street from the San Francisco Zen Center. Great food on an ever changing menu. Intimate setting.”
“Small grocery market very close by. Nice selection for a small market - but not cheap. ”
“Not sure why the original Philz isn't showing up on this map, but don't go to the one in Embarcadero. Go to the original Philz on 24th in the Mission (3101 24th/cross street Folsom). Go ahead. Tell the barista just how you like it. They want you to love it.”
“Union Square is the most visited neighborhood in San Francisco. Here you will find a large collection of high end retail outlets, fancy hotels, cafes, art galleries and a very active nightlife. The area has many live events to attend and there is always something happening to keep you entertained. To really get an experience of partying with the locals this is a must stop on any tour of the city.”
