Hours: Sunday Closed Monday Closed Tuesday 9AM–4PM Wednesday9AM–4PM Thursday9AM–4PM Friday 9AM–4PM Saturday9AM–4PM This is the largest, state owned, warm-water hatchery in Missouri; one of the largest in the nation. It raises walleye, muskellunge, channel catfish, largemouth bass, striped and hybrid striped bass, bluegill, and hybrid sunfish to stock in Missouri waters. The 2,000-square-foot visitor center includes a 12,700-gallon aquarium, gift shop, a variety of exhibits; demonstrations; and displays. Missouri hunting and fishing permits are available. Fishing is allowed by youth 15 years of age and younger. Tackle and bait are available free of charge.

Fun and interesting for all ages to learn about all different species of fish raised in the hatchery and stocked into rivers and lakes statewide. Also they host a annual Kids Fishing Day for kids 15 yrs. and under, with a variety of activities throughout the day. Center is open March 1-December 1, admission is free to the public. Please check with them at the time you visit to see hours of operation and public access to the Center due to COVID-19.
