Get LOTS of information about RMNP and catch a free shuttle into the park, especially to Bear Lake. Leave the driving to someone else and have your camera ready.

Estes Park has a free shuttle service in the summer. It's a great way to get around.

People tend to think that Estes has a parking problem. Frankly, there is only a few times in a year that we can't find a parking spot at the visitor's center. From there you can connect to the riverwalk and stroll through all of downtown. If you are not us for walking, they offer trolleys that leave from there to verious parts of town. You can even catch a hiking shuttle into RMNP from the visitor center.
