“Accessible by foot for about 1.5 hours on either side of low tide, this island offers stunning views of Salem Sound and Marblehead. A great picnic spot up on the field. There are lovely trails up the wooded hill, but you need to be careful of poison ivy!”

“Featuring local artists, this gallery always has something surprising to offer. Housed in a very old home worth a visit on it's own, the gift shop is a fun spot to browse. ”
“Soall Bistro is a fantastic spot for lunch, dinner and takeout. Offering fresh, bright Vietnamese cuisine - like the citrus spring rolls, pho, cabbage & shrimp salad - the menu is light, refreshing and healthy... but also satisfying. ”
“This amazing dinner & Sunday brunch spot is a 2 minute walk from the Hideaway House and boasts some of the best food and drink in Marblehead. Get there at 5pm for dollar oysters and wine or make reservations for a romantic date or fun family dinner. Get the steak frites, coconut cream sole, or the panzanella! For brunch, the huevos rancheros or salmon benedict with a mimosa!”
“This place has stood the test of time in Marblehead, which is it's own recommendation. Hearty Italian fare, generous portions, warm lively ambiance and delicious cocktails. I'm still trying to master their cucumber martini...”
