High Point City Lake Park

Year-round park featuring a seasonal amusement park & swimming pool with slides & a children's area.

My favorite spot for kayaking, but canoes are an option, as well. Twelve bucks for a single kayak (double-seaters are there, as well) for the day. You'll see egrets and hawks.
