Many celebrities have stayed at the Pontchartrain Hotel, none more famous than Jim Morrison after he stumbled off stage after performing his last concert ever. The hotel was renovated to its former 1970s glory in 2016 and now boasts a hip rooftop bar (Hot Tin) and eclectic restaurant (Jack Rose), among other eating and drinking establishments.
