Relaxed restaurant with amazing views, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a perfect spot to watch the sun go down over the harbour. Live music some nights in the summer and great atmosphere, a short ferry journey from Mudeford Quay.
Situated on the sandbank of Hengistbury head, the Beach House has stunning panoramic views across Christchurch harbour. I love visiting this café and head there regularly if I feel like treating myself to a day out at Mudeford Quay (awesome crabbing here) or Mudeford beach topped off with some…
A super cafe come restaurant on the beautiful Mudeford spit where the beach huts change hands for 250k! Great menu and friendly staff but obviously gets very busy on a nice sunny day. Great walks, you can take the ferry to Mudeford Quay or the land train to and from Hikers Cafe at the car park.
My favourite restaurant in the world. A bottle of Prosecco, Moules Mariniere and fries, Sitting in the sun in a stunning location with fantastic service and all at very affordable prices.
“A great place to visit when the sun shines. The beach is perfect for all. A walk atop Hengistbury Head provides commanding view looking back to Christchurch, over to The Needles on The Isle of Wight as well as the meander of beach huts that command prices north of £300k. With a bar, pizza and a number of shops for ice cream or hot chocolate it is easy to spend the whole day here. With the ferry (£2 for an adult less for a child and even takes your dog) this is a fabulous day out.”
“Cosy Pub, basic pub food, no kids indoors but the location on the quayside means you’ll want to be outside toasting the sunset!”
“A cute rustic cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. They serve a great brunch. Run by a very friendly couple. ”
“Dogs allowed in Pub which serves food. Situated on the Southbourne Overcliffe. Always check out reviews.”
