Water ski boats and sailboats are available for rent at the marina. We also know some private rental opportunities for ski boats, so ask us about that if you're interested.

Just down the hill from the cabin, great spot for a walk. They also offer boat rentals as well as overnight berths for your boat. We keep our boat there overnight whenever we can, so we can get an evening cruise in!

If you've never seen Lake Tahoe up close, the nearest spot to Truckee for breathtaking views is Tahoe City Marina. It doesn't cost you anything to go there -- you can park for free, and walk along the docks to take in the views. It is stunning. And it's time efficient.

Best place for watching the 4th of July fireworks display if you are not in a boat on the lake. Park facing south away from town so you can get out more easily after the show.
