This place is great for children and anyone interested in trains. It's near the Willamette River, Aerial Tram that goes over the river, The Eastbank Esplanade Loop that goes along the river and Omsi science museum. Right near the Max line as well. The kids will be enthralled for hours with this sweet little hidden gem.

I volunteer here restoring and maintaining Portland's active steam locomotives that were pulled from a park and restored to operation by this dedicated group of volunteers. Entry is free and they offer train rides on weekends in the summer months.
