Traif's tagline is "Celebrating pork, shellfish, and globally inspired soul food." The restaurant's devotion to unkosher food is a bit ironic given it's proximity to the Hasidic population of Williamsburg, yet that doesn't make the ambitious fare any less enticing. Go to town on dishes like buffalo-style frog legs and seared foie gras in the funky Brooklyn environs.
Try the chefs tasting menu (reasonably priced!) and you’ll be stuffed to the gills ~ solid Williamsburg standby.
Amazing comfort/soul food. They have a 10 course tasting menu for $50 each, so reasonable for the amount of food! If you don't do that, make sure to try to sliders and the ribs!

One of the best restaurants in Brooklyn - incredible tapas and a meal you will never forget
“A Mexican-inspired restaurant with new-age creations. This place has lots of inventive cuisines and great margarita concoctions. It's a small place near the Williamsburg bridge, but the flavors are worth a visit. This is recognized by Michelin with one-star. **According to the Guide, one star signifies "a very good restaurant".”
“American diner, a bit fancy, but very good food. Tasty pork ribs, and extremely cheesy American style mac and cheese. God there to experience fancy American style food.”
“Popular dry-rub BBQ, beer & bourbon purveyor with an industrial, cafeteria-style decor & wall mural.”
“Fried chicken headlines a menu of Southern specialties, including signature pies for dessert.”
