The bakery at Madonna Inn is amazing! Their Pink Champagne Cake is out of this world! They also have a nice selection of cookies, brownies, etc.
12 miles North on Highway 101. The Madonna’s architecture and decadence is a must see. The coffee shop has the best bakery. The dinning room is pretty. There is a gift shop and a wine shop.
This kitschy mid-century hotel is a must-see! Check out the famous restrooms, buy one of the colorful goblets in the gift store, and try the famous pink champagne cake!
A must see place, great steakhouse, bakery and there is horseback riding plus a hiking trail nearby. In SLO but worth it for the day.
“This fruit stand turned tourist attraction is wonderfully farmlike. They have fabulous fruit and produce, an ice cream shop, baked delights, and a gift shop. They also have animals that you can feed, including goats, an ostrich, cow, horse, and others. You'll feel you're out in the country surrounded by friends.”
“Hot springs and restaurant 10 mins away and an amazing uphill hike to unbelievable views of Avila Bay”
“Novo is a SLO favorite-perfect outdoor dining creekside-awesome menu with creative dishes”
“A 1,546-feet-tall volcanic summit that formed more than 20 million years ago offering a great workout, not to mention stellar panoramic views. The out-and-back trek is approximately 3.5 miles round-trip and varies between grassy slopes and mixed forest before opening to reveal the other neighboring 'Nine Sisters' peaks, and SLO laid out before you. Dogs are allowed on the trail. Rock climbing & bouldering aplenty.”
