Go to the right of the resort's main building, and there is a path to a small beach that has tide pools. A great spot for kids to inspect sea life, like hermit crabs and anemones up close. Tiny shells and pebbles to collect. There are a few spots to park in the resort parking lot. Be sure to Google for a California tide calendar before you go. At high tide, the water comes up to the cliffs, and you can't get to the beach.

Our favorite place to grab a cocktail and watch the sun set over the ocean. Beautiful scene and great service. (Also free all-you-can-eat pizza/pasta on Thursday nights!! Woo Hoo!!)
