One of the best cups of coffee in town. It's a tiny place, very cosy and they have Harts Bakery pastries.
The best of the recent influx of artisan coffee shops that have sprung up in Bristol over the last few years.
“Oh my gosh!!!!! Laura Hart is a bit of a hero in our book. She has created a very special bakery under a Victorian railway arch at Temple Meads station, just down the road from Paintworks. You can watch the bakers at work as you tuck into a mountain of their freshly baked sourdough toasties, pastries and cakes and perfectly brewed coffee. Bristolians love it and your trip is not complete without a look in! IT IS AWESOME. It does get busy but it's usually not to long a wait for a table. Availability and menu changes daily but the mushroom sausage roll and ginger cake are our all time faves. Get there as early as possible! It's either a 5 mins drive or a 20 minute walk from Paintworks (100% worth the walk).”
“More restaurant than cafe: good Italian, slightly more expensive than local cafe restaurants but worth the difference. Also good coffee and bombolonis during the day”
“Delicious Lebanese restaurant. Includes a fine selection of juices along side it's meatier choices (no alcohol is served though..)”
“An amazing spot for brunch! With enthusiastic foodie staff/owners they really do put on a great spread. It’s a lovely way to fuel up for a day exploring Bristol! Walking time - 10 Minutes ”
“King Street is the home of Craft Beer in Bristol. There are 4 or 5 great craft ale pubs and bars, including Small Bar, The Royal Naval Volunteer, Kongs, and The Beer Emporium. When you get hungry try the pizzas at Renatos, which is a Bristol institution and serves pizzas into the early hours. ”
