If you like a swim - why not try out the outdoor pool up near Hampstead Heath Station. The cost is between £4 and £7 depending on when you go and it's easy to get to by walking to Camden Road Overground station and taking the Train (Richmond direction) 2 stops to Gospel Oak Station.

When the weather is warm there is no better place to be in London than a lido - or outdoor pool. And this one is particularly good. The post swimming cafe trip is real highlight. Be sure to book your slot ahead of time on sunny days on the Eventbrite page - am slot is 10.30am-1.30pm and pm slot is 2-5pm. Adults can get in before 9.30am at a rate.

Great place to spend a sunny day. Get there early if it is hot to avoid queuing, and to get a good spot!
