St Andrews Park
Really cool park-nice Lido for kids in summer, sledging -if we're lucky- in winter, playground and plenty of space for football!
We are a short walk away from St Andrew’s Park which is a landscaped Victorian park with a large paddling pool and children's play area, plus a pop-up cafe. Its famous and gets busy on a sunny weekend as people travel to hang out here! There are buckets and spades by the front door for the large…
A lovely park, big trees and lots of space to have picnics, there is also a fab kids area with paddling pool in the summer and a cafe in the middle with coffe and cakes (seasonal). 10 minutes walk or so from the flat, great for a quick walk or a run.
“If you haven't been to Bristol before, Thali is a bit of an institution here and should be tried if you like Indian food. Expect light healthy curries and lovely daal. A local favourite in the heart of Montpelier.”
“A fantastic bakery with a massive selection of freshly baked pies, pastries and cakes at better prices than the supermarket!”
“It's also an excellent coffee shop. Organic food, sunny with outside space.”
“Rustic cafe/bar serving global tapas with an ethical spin, made using local and organic ingredients.”
“A long standing, well stocked Italian deli. 10 mins walk away. This is on Picton Street, Cary Grant, the famous Hollywood movie star lived on this street as a child at number 21.”
