Old viking place thats built up for history learning

The Museum changes exibitions every year. I had a great experience in the museum with my family and we could see and enjoy how real people lived in the past ages by watching a reconstruction of one of the largest "log house" of Norway that was there 2000 years ago.

VEIEN CULTURAL HERITAGE PARK Veien Cultural Heritage Park is located approximately one hour north-west of Oslo by car. The area consists of over 100 grave mounds from the Early Iron Age, a reconstructed longhouse and a museum. The museum is open most of the year. During the summer the longhouse and the museum are open every day except Monday. The Longhouse In the field just south of the burial ground, archaeologists have uncovered the remains of four longhouses. They are all dated to the Early Iron Age.
