A variety of musical artists take the stage during the Free Summer Concerts held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays in June, July and August from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Annual Seafood Blues & Jazz Festival, in April of each year, is the most popular event with an abundance of activities, crafts, seafood and notable musicians on two stages.

Drive through the former base back to the river. There are great views there as well as some historic armaments. Spring-Fall there are weekend concerts. If you are lucky the cafe by the river is open. A great place for breakfast or beers.

Very cost effective rentals here for bikes, kayaks, SUP, golf carts, games, just about anything item you could think of needing to rent...you can rent here for a minimal amount of money. There is a little restaurant on property as well as some nights and weekends they have live music in the park
