If you want to try traditional Turkish cuisine, visit Kanaat restaurant. The restaurant with a hundred and fifty years history offers 100-120 dishes every day, including main meals, soups, snacks and desserts. Kanaat restaurant is very popular among locals, so despite the fact that it is large during dinner it can be difficult to find a place. However there are a lot of waiters there and service is very fast. It is interestingly that there is no menu in the restaurant. A waiter will tell you available dishes. Or you can "study" the menu in the "open kitchen" and show the desired dish. All available desserts can also be seen in the showcase. Also, don't be surprised when you receive a handwritten invoice.
