Romantic & historical Parisian restaurant, where politicians used to meet their mistresses. It is said that the scratches on the mirrors in the private salons were made by the mistresses, to check if the diamonds they received for their services were authentic.

Beautiful and mythical place facing the Seine with its amazing 17th century Town House. Excellent restaurant (quite expensive). Also great for a glass of champagne at the bar.

The one and only restaurant where you’ll eat in a private lounge from the 18th century. At this time, lovers eating in this restaurant were untroubled, and were able to do what was needed to be done. Waiters were asked (and might still be, but quickly) to knock on the door before entering. On the walls, you’ll find ancient scratched mirrors: it was a good test for women to know if the diamond they just received was a real one. Food is classic but fantastic and they have dozens of thousands bottles of wine. Beware: it’s not cheap.
