Very informative with low admission costs. Tend to hold family focussed activities within the holidays and fossil finding trips throughout the year. This years Lyme Regis Fossil Festival is being held from 1st - 3rd May.
Downstairs is mainly about Lyme's connection with the sea and upstairs is devoted to fossils, especially Mary Anning. It's a great little museum right by the sea.
“Recently refurbished pub with good good from open kitchen. Particularly recommend in summer months to sit on the roof terrace. Thursday nights is quiz night and Friday nights have live music.”
“ Great food, great views. Need to book at busy peak times or take a chance. I love the fish and chips. ”
“Awesome amount of historical items and information. Fun quiz for children and adults to do as you explore this dynamic museum! Very affordable and near to town and beach. ”
“Tesco Express in the middle of Lyme Regis main street. Not suitable for a big shop, just general item essentials shopping after you have parked in Lyme Regis and propose spending time in Lyme Regis. Not suitable for just going to get stuff as parking is not good at peak times. We give guests parking info on arrival.”
