The Watergate Restaurant & Lounge Bar is located in the heart of Port Douglas, at the corner of Grant and Macrossan Street behind the Rotary Park. Enter down the flame lit path from Macrossan Street. Watergate chefs source fresh, seasonal produce to prepare innovative dishes, showcasing the best local produce whenever possible.

Watergate is most definitely one of the top three best restaurants in Port Douglas. If you are looking for a special restaurant with a special ambiance, excellent service, outstanding menu and great wine list this is it, look no further.

Great cocktail lounge, Watergate is my favourite place in town. Grab an espresso martini in the lounge between 4-6 for Happy Hour, grab a table and head on downstairs and grab the pork-belly and perking duck. Get the eye fillet with a glass of red. Seriously to die for.
