Beautiful mining centre with hosted walks into the mines. Great walks, beautiful scenery and only around 18Km from White Cottage.

“There are kid (and big kids) things to do in the Forrest Park which is quite near (more or less across the lake). To get there go left at my gate keep right at first "T" junction cross Knockvicar bridge and about one KM on you will see on your left a gate house shaped like an old three-penny coin. Turn in opposite and follow the road to the park. ”
