A beautiful and deep inlet between the rocks that closes on a beach that is not very big but sheltered and surrounded by classic Mediterranean vegetation. It offers the alternative between sand and rocks, but you must arrive early for the best places as it is very popular. It seems obvious to talk about the sea that here takes fantastic colors and absolute transparency. Some kiosks provide fresh drinks and snacks, you can reach it on foot but car parking is not far.

Still in Chia area you can find Cala Cipolla, a pretty curving bay a bit sheltered. Local tip: being small, in the peak season may be crowded, so if you wish to enjoy the vibes of this secluded place, better to go there in the early morning or late afternoon.

The beach of Cala Cipolla is an enchanting strip of golden sand, set by granite rocks under the promontory of Capo Spartivento, in the tourist resort of Chia in Southern Sardinia. Behind its sand dunes clings a forest of pines and junipers that makes the territory still wild and isolated. Its clear sea is enclosed in an arch by the rocks and has shades of blue and emerald green colors. Very popular for those who practice spearfishing and diving. From the hills that enclose the beach you can enjoy a panoramic view of the nearby beach of Su Giudeu. There is also a path that leads to the lighthouse of Capo Spartivento to admire the coast of Chia from different positions. There is a refreshment point and paid parking a few hundred meters before the beach.
