Really cool little zoo. It is super fun to see the animals swim under the glass. Well kept and easy to get through.
Portland has a great zoo. The MAX line takes you there or take a bike on a nice 6-mile ride
Wonderful, walkable zoo with so many interactive activities. Perfect afternoon with kids.
A fun outing, the zoo is small enough you can walk it in an hour or 2
Great walks, olld fashioned train, conservation programs, and very close to Portland Children Museum.
A great place (well managed) to explore with the family. Animals from all over the world and a children's museum right across the street. If you're visiting between Thanksgiving and New Year's you must go see the 1.5 million Christmas light display!
“Older children and even young teens enjoy the regular museum and also special exhibits. Check daily films shown in Omnimax Theater. 🎥 ”
“Many styles of gardens showcased in serene 5.5-acre space with waterfall, teahouse & mountain view.”
“The Portland Art Museum was founded in 1892 and is the seventh oldest museum in the country. The museum has become famous around the world because of its permanent collection that has more than 42,000 pieces in it. For history buffs there are plenty of historic art pieces on display. There are many pieces that have been collected from the native people of North America as well as a large collection of English silver. The campus that the museum sits on also has the Jubitz Center for Modern and Contemporary Art which is well worth taking a look at.”
“Great place to hang and chill out with babies, toddlers, and young children. ”
