The best pies in the world. You just have to have a Ferg pie whilst in Queenstown. Note, there is no queue here - the queue is always outside for Ferg Burgers so don't be fooled. You will be addicted for life!
Best Coffee in town - not to mentioned their breaky buns and wraps....and don't forget the pies...oh the pies...beef, pork belly. YUM!
The best bakery in town, though quite expensive compared to the one across the road.
You MUST have a pie from here before you leave Queenstown, there is a range of fillings from Steak and Cheese, Pork Belly and apple, Venison and the good old kiwi mince pie to name a few. Its always a favourite of ours on the way home from drinks in town
To avoid the queue you can phone them with your order then simply go there to the window and collect your meal. Great big burgers, coeliac and dairy free requests are taken seriously.
“Great food, perfect for a slow lunch looking over the lakefront right across the way.”
“Some of the best food around! On the walk up to the Skyline Gondola, it's got a cabinet packed with tasty treats to suit every dietary requirement and an amazing menu. Great outdoor fireplace too. ”
“Best burgers in Queenstown! Awesome beer garden for sunny days or covered and heated for cool or rainy days. Great atmosphere for group dining and turns into a bit of a party later at night with dj's and live music.”
“Let’s face it- Queenstown is not the most affordable city in New Zealand. Which is why we love this (basically) free activity right in town! The course starts and ends in the Queenstown Gardens. You do need to purchase your own disc, which you can get from one of the snow/surf shops in town. On the way: Grab a kiwi-classic pie at Ferg Bakery & a takeaway coffee from Mackenzies around the corner.”
