Chill laid back vibe. Great Mexican food. Happy hour specials daily, the strawberry margaritas are a must if you’re into cocktails. The terrace is a great place to people watch and offers anocean view.

“Upmarket Rum Shack on the sea front owned by a Brit surfer called Steve. Very chilled, bonfires, music, sometimes live bands. Food good, Big Kahuna burger recommended, fish is good but portions not as large as Pat’s in Oistins. Open all day from about 9:30. Happy hour every evening from 5.30 to 6.30 2 for 1 drinks. Closes when everyone leaves. 15 min walk, 5 min in car/taxi from Silverpoint. Head West along beach or along road across the football pitch then follow the signs on surfboards and on telegraph poles.”

“Freshly made Fried Chicken and homemade chips. Takeaway or sit outside... 10/15 min drive away twds Silver Sands. It's very informal and just a small rum shop. Also note, sometimes there can be a wait, but the chicken and chips are worth it!”

In fact, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous rated it as "one of the ten best beaches in the world"! There are powerful waves in this area, making the Crane beach a great spot for boogie boarding. The Crane Resort & Residences, standing on the cliff above the beach, has been a favorite with honeymooners since it opened in 1867.”
