St George Park
Great for a walk in the park or nice to take the children to the play area or feed the ducks
It has everything! A skate park, a kids' park, a duck pond, and loads of space!
It's on your doorstep. A pleasant way to walk to Whitehall and Easton, or cycle to the Bristol to Bath Cycle Path, a tranquil spot to nature watch. Nice for walks, picnics, running, table tennis, tennis, skatepark, children's play area. The lake is due for development to be more wildlife friendly.
Beautiful to walk around with mature lime tree avenue and a lake. Near shops for food shopping and a coffee.
“Cafe and Restaurant, serves a varied quality menu including vegetarian and regular breakfasts. Family friendly.”
“Loved by Bristolians, the Bristol Sweet Mart is an independently owned, cultural supermarket on St Mark’s Road. It’s been an Easton landmark since 1978, and its family-friendly service is some of the best in the city. Alongside staple ingredients and produce, there are over 1000 types of herbs on the shelves, fruit and vegetables from all over the world and a deli which sells freshly-made snacks, homemade curries and Indian sweets.”
“Excellent award winning sourdough bread and baked goods. Lovely cafe and excellent coffee.”
Grocery or Supermarket
“Low cost supermarket with special offers and a wide range. 5 minutes walk away. From Sherbourne Street go down the hill to Church Road, turn left then continue to the traffic lights. Aldi is on the corner opposite the Park entrance.”
“Dela means ‘share’ in Swedish, and this is a key part of the café’s ethos. Tucked away in Mivart Studios, a stone’s throw away from St Marks Road, this little place is really something special with great brunches, sharing plates and drinks.”
