Diamond Head is a fun hike to an incredible viewpoint overlooking Waikiki and Pearl Harbor. Need to make reservations.

Within walking distance (a long walk) from the unit is Diamond Head trail. One of the most traveled hiking trails on the island. If you are not a avid hiker, it’s safe and you can take your time. Plus there is always someone close to lend a hand if need. Hike is also great for health enthusiasts with wide paths to navigate around slower individuals and various routes to the top. A fantastic workout for sure! As of May 2022 reservations now required to hike the trail. Please Google the hike for current information.

Great hike and view if you can tolerate the uphill trek.

This is a moderate hike for everyone but it does get hot so go early and bring water, don't be that guy that needs a helicopter rescue. The view at the top is spectacular, don't forget your camera. Its a rocky climb so good shoes are important, no sandals or flip flops. I cant find a place that allows downloads, sorry no pic
