Our favorite bakery! Located just over the bridge in our South Portland neighborhood, you can't go wrong with anything at Scratch. Sourdough bagels, wonderful breads, and amazing pastries of all kinds. The "Almond Bear Claw", only available on Saturdays is to die for!

Great place for bagels. People literally drop from all over and buy them by the trash bag to throw in their freezer.

Scratch's yeasty sour-dough bagels are world-class and one-of-a-kind. Head to Scratch extra early for the best selection and continue on to Willard Beach or Bug light park to enjoy breakfast with a view.
