While the artificial island gets extended and renewed Haas & Popi is a nice laidback beach shack in the middle of the land reclamation process. Here you can spend a nice long sunny afternoon on their large terrace, often with dj or live music and a bohemian atmosphere. We go here quite often on sunny afternoons for local beer & bitterballen. Try this typical Dutch 'hapje' of beef filling with a crunchy cover as a snack, you'll love it! To get here is a 15 minute walk from home enjoying the paronamic views on the IJmeer, Holland's largest sweet water lake.

The cafe/restaurant at the IJburg beach (Blijburg). You can eat and drink inside and outside, a large beautiful terrace and next to the newly to open beach location on IJburg.
