Galle Fort is an iconic Fortress built by Portuguese in the 16th Century also known as Dutch Fort . It is named as a world heritage site by UNESCO. An evening walk by the light house is an amazing sight not to be missed by anyone visiting Sri Lanka. There are many good restaurants, a museum and many monuments to be visited.
