The view alone is enough to want to come here, dine in while you look into the crater. Reservations are required and id call in advance to ensure.

Great restaurant when it's open. Great view of the crater out back of the hotel. Expensive rooms, with paper thin walls.

The Rim restaurant, located in the Volcano House, overlooks the rim of Kilauea caldera and showcases spectacular views of billowing Halema‘uma‘u Crater. At least 95% of the restaurant’s meat, seafood, fruit and vegetables are sourced from local ranchers, farmers and suppliers. This restaurant is about a ten minute drive from Fiddlehead House, and, depending on the time of day, you would have to purchase a Park pass or show your receipt for a pass already purchased, to gain entry into HVNP.
