The original “New York Style” slice. It’s a very good, accurate portrayal of New York style pizza. Get the “regular slice,” also called “plain.” Local tip - in NYC, we don’t call regular slices “cheese pizza.”
In Williamsburg and Manhattan. One of the best New York style pizza. A must go.
“Reserve a table and try out Murray's delicious cheeses and seasonal meats. Wash it all down with a delightful glass of wine.”
“My personal go-to for morning coffee in the neighborhood. Feel like a West Village local and ease into the morning with a strong flavorful roast. ”
“John's opened it's doors in 1929 and is known to be one of the four original pizzerias in NYC. The pizzas are still made the same way with the same ingredients - cheese going on first before adding sauce on top before going into a coal-fired oven. Go wild loading your pizza with all the ingredients you want; the thin, crunchy crust holds up perfectly, even piled high with toppings. ”
“iconic jazz bar for the best jazz in the world. great intimate atmosphere and venue.”
“Inexpensive go to for Vietnamese Pho and other dishes. Best Pho I've experienced. Open late and you are in proximity to MANY MANY bars, comedy clubs and a few nightlife spots. Easy commute from the Airbnb. Take J/Z line to Essex St. Switch to the F or M subway heading Towards Queens and get off at West 4st. I suggest getting off at the rear of the subway. Walk from West 4st Subway you will be in Greenwich Village. A basketball court just on exiting is famous for almost professional level play by amateurs. 3 Minute walk to Saigon Shack and you are only 2 blocks from famous Washington Square Park. ”
