Bring a picnic lunch. You need an $8 Tonto National Forest pass (ask Jenni I have extra). Swim, hike, nap, rent kayak or paddle boards. Get there by 9am or earlier to get a good spot on the beach

Looking for wild horses? Get a day pass for Tonto and take the 35 minute drive up to Butcher Jones. Beautiful hiking or dip your toes in the lake. Go for a sunrise trip if you want to catch the horses!
