Inspired by the New Orleans' Marigny neighborhood, The Elysian Bar fuses its New World location with Old World roots. The ground floor of the former rectory is now a beautiful public space for hotel guests and locals to enjoy. The old side chapel houses the cafe space that proudly serves locally roasted Congregation Coffee throughout the day. Hotel Peter & Paul has partnered with the team from James Beard nominated Bacchanal to offer niche American wines, specialty cocktails, aperitivo cocktails and locally sourced and seasonally driven cuisine from Chef Alex Harrell. Guests and locals alike are able to enjoy the offerings in the heart of the hotel that has a breezy outdoor courtyard, cozy parlors, sunlit atrium and stunning bar.
3 minute walk door to door! Great bar and great food, old cathedral built in 1860's converted. Casual but classy.
Beautiful bar in immaculately designed Hotel Peter and Paul, renovated church tucked away in Marigny neighborhood.
Located in the Marigny's historic 1860 Sts Peter, Paul Catholic Church turned boutique hotel, the Elysian Bar is not to be overlooked. It's magnificent decor is an eye to behold, and it's bar and food menu live up to all that excitement. Stop bye for their Aperitivo Hour, daily 3 to 6.
This was an old church that was converted into a boutique hotel. The food is excellent and they served from 11:00 in the morning until late at night. The drinks are also excellent including the mint julep.
“One of the best bars in the city, although it's very new. Unique cocktails and lounge vibe. So relaxing and beautiful, the walls are lined with books and there's couches everywhere. The food (all small plates) is expensive but delish. Make a reservation!”
“So cute, just like a big open French Brasserie, they occasionally have burlesque dancers performing. One of the best meals I have ever had. New restaurant. ”
“Dim sum in the French Quarter. This place is on my list of restaurants I’m dying to try. There’s usually a wait, but I’ve read you can use the waitlist in the yelp app to save a spot. It’s getting rave reviews!”
“Wine bar located in beautiful building listed with the National Register of Historic Places. Green, lush, outdoor patio perfect for relaxing after a long day.”
“Great beverages that are carefully crafted by the baristas at Lamara! They also offer a great space to sit, relax, chat with friends, work on your laptop, etc. FYI - Lamara is a cash-free business so cards only!”
