Rainey Street is located near highway 35 and Cesar Chavez and is a street of cute little bungalows that have all been converted into thematic bars like the one pictured. It's a classier version of going out at night compared to dirty 6th street. Also a lot of great food trucks!

Historic neighborhood nestled in downtown Austin. Used to be all bungalows occupied by low income families. Some have been transformed into cool bars, others have been knocked down to make room for high rises. Great during the day, gets a little hectic at night.

A historic district nestled downtown with bungalow style homes turned into bars. The homes have large porches and outdoor yards and is a popular nightlife area. Parking can be challenging so recommend taking an Uber/Lyft.
