Oh my gosh, this is my local spot for delicious vegan junk food. A must stop for vegetarians coming through town. Separate menus for brunch and dinner. Great shakes!
Amazing vegetarian burgers, sandwiches, and more, made from scratch in house. Lots of gluten free options, and now brunch too!
Off the Griddle is a family favorite, with a full vegetarian and vegan menu. Everything is, you guessed it, off the griddle, and they do it well!
Cute little vegan "coffee shop" in an up and coming neighborhood. Good food and cool vibe.
Off the Griddle cafe has vegan and vegetarian menu with breakfast, lunch, dinner.
All vegan, close to us, and in the Foster/Powell neighborhood which might be the one spot left in Portland that still feels like old Portland.
Fun spot for vegetarian and vegan classic American favorites and a full bar to go with it. Stellar and very popular brunch menu served 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Closed Tuesdays.
“4 minute drive, 25 minute walk from Foster Cabin. Good food! Are people telling you to visit the Bye and Bye? Thunderbird is run by the same owners - they focus on vegan-friendly menu options and cocktails - and they’ve even got a slushie machine that makes CBD frosé. Call ahead to check on service hours and outdoor seating availability. ”
“Bar Carlo has great food from breakfast to small plates at dinner, including an extensive vegan menu, a full bar, and the other half of the space has a record store, a indoor plant store, and vintage goods. There has been many a time I bought a few albums while waiting for my delicious food to arrive. The owners of Bar Carlo also go out their way to foster other community gatherings like craft nights, watch parties, for favorite tv shows, hosting local filmmakers, or the odd music performance. As it says on the wall "Foster is a verb"!”
“3 minute drive, 12 minute walk from Foster Cabin. Local cocktail bar. Serving drinks via limited outside seating. No food - but you can order from Atlas Pizza next door and bring your food to 5 and dime. ”
“Coffee, tasty donuts and pastries, soups and sandwiches, and a full bar make Pieper cafe a favorite stop. Free wifi makes this a frequent place for all the self-employed to get out of their house, get a cup-of-joe, and get to working. The staff is pleasant and helpful, always nice to come in!”
