Looking for green mountains amidst the dry desert? There are some hidden gems in this area. It is far enough away to be a day trip, but not too far that it isn't worth going. Find some fresh cool air at a higher elevation surrounded by the beautiful greenery!

The closest mountain town to PHX. This short hour drive will put you into a completely different climate and scenery. With pine trees and vistas as far as the eye can see, this is a great place for any outdoor activity.

Payson is 15 miles south of Pine, and has most of your bigger city needs such as Walmart, Safeway, Home Depot, banks, a lot of restaurants, and a movie theatre.

We have Cave Creek and Carefree 15 min away as well as Bartlett Lake 30 min and Lake Pleasant also 30 min from our Ranch! Sedona is an hours drive along with Prescott, Jerome and Flagstaff another 30 min from Sedona. Grand Canyon is 3 hours and Williams, AZ the Grand Canyon town off the exit to GC is amazing.
