Only a 10 minute drive from the Casita, this burger, local microbrewery, and whisky tasting establishment is great for an afternoon or early evening meal with nice indoor and outdoor seating. Corn hole boards and a place where kids can stretch their legs provides extra relaxation.

A unique brew house restaurant in that it has a large orange rock on the property resembling an Arizona landscape. This is an especially great place for families with kids. On weekends, they have live music in the building adjacent to the left. Next door on the immediate right is a chic distillery with a 'Texas Cowboy' decor. They distill several types of bourbon and whiskeys.

SLO Brew Rock features a taproom restaurant, catering kitchen, and event space. The casual setting is centered around “the rock”, with extensive landscaping, casual outdoor seating and fire pits. The Rock boasts one of the largest venues in San Luis Obispo County for Live Entertainment, Weddings, and many other events.

Great outdoor brewery - this is where I meet a few people for drinks and games. They often have live music too! There is a whiskey bar right next door for the liquor-lovers.

Best brewery in SLO, with great outdoor seating and a fantastic salad (rare for a brewery). Dog and kid friendly, and within walking distance to the airport if you're waiting to catch a flight.
