This is a very large grocery store that includes a pharmacy. It is walking distance from our neighborhood. If you're in a pinch and it's after 9 pm then go here. Note: CVS Pharmacy in Encinitas is open until midnight.

Von's is the standard grocery store in the area. It is close, well stocked and reasonably priced. One more exit down is Smart and Final, which is cheaper but has less to choose from. We go here.
