Beautiful pub / restaurant located outside Old Thorns hotel and spa which I believe also has a golf club. Great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. In the summer then also have special weekends of cars, live music and events which attract many celebs. The manager is our friend so if you would like a table let me know! Child friendly too.

Rustic country pub, a 17th-century hunting lodge, with a British menu championing local produce. Just a short walk down the ancient track. For restaurant bookings call 01428 724406 (Ask for Debs and mention you are staying at Sweet Briars Cottage and she will do her best to get you a nice table). Take a torch if you're walking down at night!

The Deer's Hut is a local favourite .. a classic country pub with a designer's twist. The food quality is good. Pretty outside space too.
