The Effra Social was previously home to the local Conservative club from the late 1800's until its closure in November 2012. The venue is now open to the general public for the first time in over 100 years.

Once the old conservative club of Brixton - now a highly unusual old conservative club themed pub. It works! Good food. Good beer. DJs and bands on weekends. Table tennis.

Great for drinking/dancing on a friday/saturday night as well as mid-week events like music and pub quizzes. Great for Sunday lunch too
