Circa-1928 soda fountain with wooden booths, vintage decor & retro food & drinks such as egg creams.
Homey and reasonable priced with a real retro feel. Mac Alpine’s is a five minute walk from the studio.
This is like an old school diner with an antique store attached. The food and shakes are LEGIT!
Want to have a sundae at the oldest soda fountain in Phoenix? Try Mac Alpines. The menu has many comfy food options in addition to numerous desserts that you can eat at the table, or at the counter. This place is historic and located within .6 miles of the studio in the Coronado.
“Vegan and vegetarian restaurant that is actually healthy and not just full of fake meat and processed soy. Great breakfast and lunch options. ”
“Every list needs a token hip spot, and the Coronado neighborhood provides that place with the cozy, house-turned-restaurant . Advertised as a spring roll bar, the menu is dominated by its many rolls, but fear not, the small pho section certainly makes up for its size through flavor.”
“I am a huge ice cream fan and this place hits the spot. While I am not vegan, if you are, this place is apparently compatible with your diet. The ice cream is soy based and everything they serve is vegan. It is in/near the Coronado historic district.”
“Awesome neighborhood restaurant with casual food along with great beer and drinks. They offer everything from simple salads and sandwiches to green chile and cornbread. They have a happy hour everyday and an extended happy hour on Wednesday. ”
