Best Italian food on the central coast with the best service you’ll find anywhere! Try the Flatliner while you wait!
Unfortunately, Giuseppe's burnt down in late June of this year! It was by far, our favorite local restaurant. The owner does have plans to rebuild. There is another Giuseppe's location in downtown San Luis Obispo where the food is still great and their bar is even bigger and better.
Very popular quaint Italian restaurant from the Pugliese region, including bread from a wood-burning oven.
Delicious food, great service. You can try their take out pizza and deli shop across the street.
One of my favorite Italian restaurants. Homemade pastas and sauces. Make sure to try their espresso martini.
This place is known for there Italian food and flatliners. If you've never had a flatliner it's a must. This place is always busy so do yourself a favor and call for reservations. You may still have a wait.
“Across the street from one of our favorite restaurants - The Spoon Trade -- they are owned by same chef. Sourdough breads, desserts, pretzels - soups, sandwiches. You'll love the flavors - fresh baked daily. ”
“They have a great happy hour with tapas! Oceanfront rooftop dining -watch the sunset, whales and dolphins.”
“Take a mellow stroll from city to sea along this well maintained bike/walking path. which leads you to beautiful Avila Beach. The 5 mile round trip trail guides you through grand oak trees and passes Sea Canyons famous apple orchards. The trail has several benches along the way for resting or bird watching. If you are feeling hungry then make a stop at Woodstone Market & Deli for a delicious snack or glass of wine a mile into the trail. ”
“Rent some bicycles in Avila Beach and enjoy the easy ride on this paved trail (fine for walking as well). About midway, stop for a glass of local wine at a little market along the trail.”
“Awesome people run this business! Grab a kayak or a stand up paddle board and cruise around Avila bay or over to the lighthouse for an hour, so fun! ”
