Not as boring as it sounds! Pack a picnic and take in the beautiful blue ridge mountains. With plenty of overlooks, this is the perfect way to spend a low key afternoon. There are also plenty of hiking spots along the way!

One of the most iconic roads in the US the Blue Ridge Parkway runs right through Spruce Pine! About a 30 minute drive from Ace's Place. Enjoy the views, and you might even see a bear!

The parkway features many overlooks of mountain vistas and historic points of interest. Access is about an hour away. Another great all-day car or motorcycle tour.
