This is an amazing hike with great views. It is a relatively easy hike my 6 year old has done it about 5 times. It is around 3km long. Fun for kids because there are some good geocache sites along the way.
This park is located west across a channel from Saltspring Island and has spectacular views looking south. Located in the Maple Bay area. The picture in the heading of this page is a view from Stoney Hill. The hike can be longer than expected but the views are worth the effort! A 30-minute drive to the north from the B&B.
Spectacular views and one of our favourites to show off. This 3.7-km loop trail is located between Maple Bay and Genoa Bay. It takes an average of 1 h to complete. This is a very popular area for photography, birding, hiking, and trail running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. Good shoes are a must! We find some parts of the loop challenging. Black bears are often sighted here, but you’ll see a warning if one has been seen recently. Again, spectacular views!!
