Since opening in January 2006, Hot Suppa has served comfort Southern fare to the Portland community in our casual cozy dining room, and on our private patio in the warmer months. Our cooking draws inspiration from our favorite BBQ joints, coastal fish frys, soul food, meat & threes, Cajun, Creole, and new-Southern restaurants from across the South. The bar offers a full selection of craft cocktails, wine and draft local beers, as well as espresso drinks and kombucha. Hot Suppa is open daily for breakfast and lunch, and Tuesday-Saturday for dinner, which features $1.50 oysters on the half shell.
See the full write up in the Favorite Restaurants section. They do have terrific breakfasts, but check out their dinner options, too!
Go for happy hour. The ribs are great. Don't forget to save room for the bread pudding.
“This spot has tapa style plates and great cocktails. This is a spot we’ll go for a date night or if I have a friend coming into town.”
“Go here if you're looking for ramen. They have a small menu, but it's all delicious! Also, of course, a large selection of local beers. This place is a great option for an affordable and filling dinner!”

“Highly recommend Eventide for seafood. This restaurant always has a line out the door. It's pretty pricey, but if you're into food, this is a spot to try. ”
