The Bell is a five minute drive away. I mention it because It serves good Sunday Lunch until 8pm on a Sunday and it allows dogs in the bar.

Another bar and restaurant within walking distance of Lavender Cottage, The Bell was fully refurbished in November 2021. It offers a good choice of food and drink in a casual and friendly atmosphere. This is a lovely village pub with a changing list of guest ales and very good food. Nice garden. Worth a visit.
