Squirrell point light is just around the corner from the dwelling and is a lovely hike through the woods out to the coast and the lighthouse. It's about a 15 minute hike out to the lighthouse and back. Pack a picknick and enjoy the view.

Lighthouses and short hikes… One of three lighthouse on the Kennebec, an easy 30 minute walk to the light on a single wide trail. You’ll pass over a salt marsh on a foot bridge where you may see blue heron or an eagle. To get there take Bald Head Rd in Arrowsic to the end.
